Clinicians Migradol Capsules 90

Clinicians MigraDol Capsules are used to combat migraine headache. Clinicians MigraDol Capsules are a nutrient formulation containing Vitamin B2 and Magnesium.

Migraine headaches cause a variety of symptoms like severe throbbing (often on one side of the head). They affect 1 in 10 people and appear to run in families. Migraines occur when blood vessels in the head and neck spasm or constrict resulting in decreased blood flow to the brain, minutes to hours later, the blood vessels expand and a severe headache follows. Migraine headaches may be influenced by vascular tone, food hypersensitivity or other inflammatory causes.

Clinicians MigraDol Capsules may be beneficial in reducing the length and severity of migraine headaches because of the Vitamin B2 (riboflavin) contained in it. Vitamin B2 is an effective, tolerable and low cost option for migraine prevention as it reduces sensitivity in blood vessels caused through food hypersensitivity, inflammation or vascular tone. Please be aware that Vitamin B2 has a natural intense colour which will show in urine. Clinicians MigraDol Capsules also contain Magnesium which, it appears, is vital to the health of every cell in the body. Magnesium deficiency adversely affects the body's ability to carry oxygen in the blood. Low magnesium levels are associated with increased contraction of the smooth muscles in the lining of the blood vessels.

Patient Info

The debilitating symptoms of a migraine headacheï¾ may be caused or promoted by low levels Vitamin B2 and Magnesium. Common Migraine may be accompanied by nausea, vomiting or extreme sensitivity to light or noises. Classical migraine is preceded by an aura, typically involving visual disturbances such as shimmering lights or blind spots. Vitamin B2 may assist energy production and reduce sensitivity of the blood vessels in the head and magnesium may support normall functioning of smooth muscle cells, thus reducing cell irritability. Clinicians MigraDol Capsules contain both Vitamin B2 and Magnesium.

Migraine headaches can be managed to some extent by modifying the diet. Adopt a diet comprised mainly of fresh, unprocessed foods. Remove any foods you may be allergic to, (as a guide, anything you like to eat a lot of, you may be allergic to) and taking a multivitamin and mineral supplement and an omega fatty acid supplement will provide additional nutrient support. We recommend taking Clinicians Vitamin and Mineral Boost Capsules and/or Clinicians Omega-3 Capsules. Drinking at least 1.5 to 2 litres of water per day is recommended as is 30 to 60 minutes of moderate exercise and 10 - 15 minutes of relaxation per day (deep breathing, meditation).

Medicines have benefits and some have risks. Always read the label and use only as directed. If symptoms persist or you have side effects see your healthcare professional. Vitamins are supplementary to and not a replacement for a balanced diet.
