Sonaflam is indicated for the treatment of:  

  • acute musculoskeletal disorders (such as sprains and strains, direct trauma, lumbo-sacral pain, cervical spondylitis, fibrositis, bursitis and tendonitis)
  • dysmenorrhoea, uterine pain following I.U.D. insertion
  • dental pain
  • migraine headaches
  • prophylaxis and acute treatment
  • rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and acute gout
  • juvenile arthritis

Dosage

Headaches, fever, minor aches and pains: Take 1 or 2 tablets initially then 1 tablet every 8-12 hours. Maximum 3 tablets in 24 hours.


Pain with inflammation, musculoskeletal disorders and period pain: Take 2 tablets initially, then 1 tablet every 6-8 hours. Maximum 5 tablets in 24 hours.


Migraines: Take 3 tablets at the first sign of migraine. Take 1 or 2 tablets throughout the day as necessary but not within 30 minutes of the inital dose. Maximum 5 tablets in 24 hours.

Warning Do not take Sonaflam if you are sensitive to aspirin, ibuprofen or other anti-inflammatories, if you have or have a history of GI ulcers, if you are pregnant or could be pregnant or if you are taking anti-coagulants.
