Dosage | Adults: To supplement daily fibre intake 2 - 6 Metamucil Fibre Capsules are recommended. To help restore and maintain regularity 6 Metamucil Fibre Capsules are recommended. Dose to be taken 1-3 times daily. Take Metamucil Fibrecaps with at least 250ml of liquid (swallow one capsule at a time). Do not take if you have difficulty swallowing. For children consider using Metamucil Powder also available at www.drugdispensary.com. Metamucil Fibrecaps are not recommended for children under the age of 12 years. |

Warning | Metamucil Fibrecaps are not recommended for children under the age of 12 years. Taking Metamucil Fibrecaps without adequate fluid may cause it to swell and block your throat or oesophagus and may cause choking. Take two hours before or after ingesting any medication to minimize any effect on drug absorption. Before using this product consult your doctor if you have a sudden change in bowel habits persisting for 2 weeks or have abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting or rectal bleeding. If constipation persists beyond 7 days consult a doctor. |
