Telnase Nasal Spray 120 Dose

Telnase contains a corticosteroid (Triamcinolone Acetnide) and is used to treat seasonal allergic rhinitis (hayfever) and perennial allergic rhinitis. Hayfever produces symptoms such as sneezing, itching and runny nose. Sometimes you can get these symptoms all year long and this is called perennial allergic rhinitis. It is often caused by dust mites or hair from a cat or a dog. Telnase sprayed into your nose will relieve the sneezing, itchy, runny nose you experience with hayfever or perennial allergic rhinits.

Active Ingredient Telnase contains the active ingredient: Triamcinolone acetonide 55mcg/spray.
Dosage Telnase is very simple to use. The usual dose of Telnase for Adults and children above 12 years is Start with 2 sprays into each nostril once daily, then reduce to 1 spray into each nostril once daily when symptoms are controlled. You should use Telnase regularly for best control of your allergic symptoms
Contra Indications Do not use Telnase if you are allergic to any ingredient in Telnase or have an infection of the nose. Do not give Telnase to children under 12 years of age.
Reactions While on Telnase, some people may experience side effects. Most of the time they are mild and only last a short period, occasionally they may be serious. Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you notice any of the following and they worry you: increased runny nose, increased sneezing, irritation inside the nose, increased blocked nose or sore throat. Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you develop any of the following: signs or symptoms of a nasal or sinus infection such as fever, pain or swelling, or discoloured nasal discharge, if you have eye pain or visual disturbances, your nose bleeds or you suffer any headaches.
Patient Info Obtain a new bottle of Telnase within 8 weeks after the bottle was first opened, even if you have not used all the solution.
Warning Before using Telnase tell your doctor/ pharmacist if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have nasal/ sinus infection, have recently had nasal ulcers, nasal injury or surgery to your nose, taking any other medication containing corticosteroids, have asthma or are taking asthma medication.
