| Purpose |
Blis K12 Throatguard lozenges contain Streptococcus salivarius K12 and can help maintain the balance of good bacteria in your throat and mouth, helping support your body's immune system. Research studies have shown that people with high levels of the type of oral bacteria found in Blis K12 ThroatGuard enjoy good throat health. The recommended monthly dose to maintain good throat health is four Blis K12 Throatguard lozenges a day (sucked at regular intervals) for three days. The recommended regime requires two packs of Blis K12 Throatguard to provide one month's cover. This provides a three day initial high dose, followed by a weekly one-a-day maintenance dose for the remainder of the month. This cycle is then repeated monthly. Each month requires two full courses of Blis K12 Throatguard with the maximum recommended daily usage of four doses per day.
Blis K12 Throatguard can also be used as a precautionary health measure when family, partners, school or work colleagues are experiencing ill health, or when travelling in close contact with others in enclosed environments, air travel or a train trip for example.

As well as being used to guard against sore throats and to maintain good throat health, Blis K12 ThroatGuard Lozenges may also be beneficial in overcoming bad breath. A new approach to combating bad breath is to REBALANCE the oral micro flora (bacteria that live in the mouth) by firstly reducing the number of undesirable bacteria and secondly re-colonising with the beneficial bacteria 'Streptococcus salivarius K12'. Most of the products currently available for the treatment of bad breath rely on reducing bad bacteria or on masking the unpleasant odour. For sufferers of chronic bad breath this often only addresses the symptoms in the short term, as numbers of problem causing bacteria can return. Blis K12 ThratGuard lozenges contain the beneficial naturally occurring bacteria 'Streptococcus salivarius' which have been shown to assist in maintaining throat health by supporting the throat's natural defences against undesirable bacteria.
