| Purpose |
| Voltaren Emulgel is used to relieve pain and reduce swelling in a number of conditions affecting the joints and muscles. Voltaren Emulgel works particularly well on inflammation of tendons, ligaments, muscles and joints due to trauma (e.g. sports injuries, sprains, strains and bruises), soft tissue rheumatism and localized rheumatic conditions, e.g. bursitis. For aches and pains, back, neck and shoulder pain. Voltaren Emulgel is available in 100, 50 and 20 gram tubes.

| Dosage |
| The amount of Voltaren Emulgel gel needed per application will vary depending upon the size of the painful or swollen area being treated. You can apply Voltaren Emulgel 2 or 3 time a day unless your doctor advises other wise. You may notice a slight cooling effect when you rub the gel into the skin.Voltaren Emulgel is suitable to be used by all age groups. Gently rub a small amount of Voltaren Emulgel into the skin around the swollen or painful area.

| Contra Indications |
| External use only. Likelihood of systemic effects is small compared with oral diclofenac. Apply only to healthy and intact skin surfaces, avoid eyes or mucous membranes. Use with caution in pregnancy or lactation.

| Warning |
Voltaren Emulgel is for exterior application only and NOT to be taken orally. Do NOT apply Voltaren Emulgel to cuts or open wounds or any other area where the skin is abnormal. After applying the gel do NOT cover with bandages or sticking plaster. Do NOT get Voltaren Emulgel into your eyes. If this happens wash your eyes out with clean water and seek immediate medical advice.
If your symptoms do NOT improve within 2 weeks or they get worse seek immediate medical advice. Was |
