Details
Hirudoid Cream is used for accidental or surgical injury: contusions, sprains, haematomas, bruises and swelling. Use Hirudoid to treat scars: loosening of scar tissue, improvement of scars due to injury and surgery. Use also for various inflammatory conditions of the veins requiring medical supervision.

Active Ingredient Hirudoid Cream contains: Heparinoid (Mucopclysaccharide polysulfuric acid ester) bovine 3mg/g. Also contains 2mg/g hydroxybenzoates as preservatives.
Dosage Unless otherwise directed by your doctor, Rub in 3 to 5 cm of Hirudoid Cream once or twice daily (refer to leaflet inside box for full instructions). Massage gently into skin until all is absorbed. If area is extensive or painful, spread cream on cautiously and cover with a dressing soaked with the cream. It should be massaged around the edge of affected area. For loosening of hard scars, cream should be massaged firmly.

Reactions Very occasionally product will cause reddening of the skin, in this case use should be stopped.
